next weekend sees the return of the Magic Theatre at a new location. previously at the Rivioli ballroom, it has moved to a new venue - The Bloomsbury Ballroom. The Magic theatre nights are always full of fun people and a large percentage is tv. Its a great mix of girls guys and in betweenies and the costumes people wear are fantastic. its well worth going to this saturday

So sparkle has been and gone for another year. Manchesters Gay Village is so much fun having everything in one place is brilliant - I dont think there is anything like it any where in the UK. (let me know if there is) - I want to go. Miss Sparkle 2008 is a bit of a stunner to say the least - she stood out from the crowd - big time. more info at www.sparkle.org.uk

we went shopping on saturday day and found lots of wig shops and various nice little shops selling a range of cute clothes.

We went to essential and a club called Queer for morning glory which was ace. (not that kind)

The Magic theatre Final encore was such a let down - everyone was looking forward to it as Rivioli Ballroom is so much fun - BUT it was appauling - I think the DJ had been told to play the worst music possible so people left so they could fit more new people in - we spent about 15 minutes in there

despite packing far to many clothes I some how managed to wear nearly all of them in 5 outfit changes yay.

Its just a shame its all over for another year - but I will be back for sparkle 2009 no doubt and I am hoping to be back in the village soon

well what a nite. I was not going to go but I was pursuaded by a very special sexy GG to go. How can a girl refuse an invite like that - if you were there, you probably saw me bouncing on the dancefloor and domming in the dungeon. The resident mistress is a lovely girl. I suggest you get chatting to her if you go again.

The new venue is small - but better than the old one, Rub has always suffered from a lack of furniture and it still only has 4 pieces. It did get quite busy and I wasnt able to find furniture when I wanted 2 play.

Its a very intimate venue and I would recomend getting ur bums there - very trans friendly as you would expect from the scene

I have to say its fantastic - I bought one the other day and it just totally hides any tired lines and bags brilliantly - it gives you a lovely radiance - you dont need to use too much of it either so it should last for ages. Highly recommend you go and buy one
